Coconut Sugar 250 Gram

Jivamrit's Organic Coconut Sugar is made from organic Coconut Nector cultivated responsibly by the farmers of our farmer producer organization. (JIVAMRIT FPO) having 1000+ farmers base and 1400+ ha Organic certified Land in Uttrakhand.

Our Process: It starts with harvesting or "tapping" the flower bud stem of a coconut tree. Farmers make a cut on the spadix and the sap starts to flow from the cutting to bamboo containers. The harvested Sap was collected in the barrels and transport to the plant. The sap collected is then transferred into large through a cloth Filter to remove any physical dust. The Collected Sap is placed over moderate heat to evaporate the moisture content of the sap. As the water evaporates, it starts to transform into thick sap syrup. The SAP Syrup may be further reduced to crystal or block which is granulated through cutter.

The Granulated sap crystals are passed through a sieve mesh for uniform size crystals which is called coconut sugar.
